AKAN provides comprehensive assistance with MEDIF procedures for patients who require medical clearance or special arrangements for air travel.

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of required MEDIF documents.
  • Coordinate necessary information and documentation with hospitals and airlines.
  • Support patients and their families throughout the MEDIF process.

2. Air ambulance

AKAN coordinates air ambulance services for patients who require specialized medical transportation.

  • Arrange appropriate air ambulance services based on the patient’s medical condition, destination, and transportation requirements.
  • Coordinate communication among medical teams, air ambulance providers, hospitals, and patients’ families.
  • Support the entire transfer process to help ensure safe and efficient medical transportation.

3. Islamic Funeral Support

AKAN provides culturally and religiously appropriate funeral support for Muslim patients and their families in Korea.

  • Coordinate funeral procedures and transportation of the deceased in cooperation with experienced international funeral professionals.
  • Assist with repatriation arrangements when transportation to the patient’s home country is required.
  • Coordinate Islamic funeral procedures, including Ghusl, in cooperation with the Korea Muslim Federation when required.
